Kitchen with a view
This was a design collaboration with the architect and Interior designer with direct input with the client. Neff Cabinetry was the chosen cabinetry due to their unique finishes and creative cabinet forms. The goal was to blend a contemporary look with the warmth of wood. We had early input on electrical, lighting and appliance layouts. This contributed to the efficient work of the subcontractors preventing costly changes. Numerous Neff features were incorporated in the interior and exterior detailing.
The "J"-shaped Island features a raised bar, sink and dishwasher along with a c curved front butcher block to allow for prep waste to be swept directly into the trash and recycle bin below. A wet bar doubles as a butlers pantry to the dining room and under cabinet integrated lighting and plug strips keep the back splash well lit and uncluttered. The wine cooler holds the owners currently drinkable wine collection of 120 bottles. Neff cabinets zed upper display cabinet is featured.
Arc lights illuminate the work surface at the cooking wall. Neff's custom hood provides the ventilation, and integrated lights. The Pillowed doors of Euro laminates, compliment the contrasting cinnabar backsplash and doors flanking the curved face of the Hood Contemporaire. The cooktop is nested in the ergonomically designed, spill proof cooking well. Neff's exclusive Stainless Steel Handles are matched in length to the door widths so the reveals are consistent. The sky blue metallic painted shelves provide a strong horizontal display area. The outside corner cabinet features Neff's demi height and allows for complete access to the entire width of the double door cabinet. The demi height cabinet is the ideal height for the espresso machine to the right of the coffee bar.
