Originally built in 1914, this gracious Craftsman home was brought up to date as a spec project. The designer put her considerable skills to work and our task was to make it happen within a tight budget and time frame. The kitchen was expanded and a south facing window installed to take advantage of the city view. The green island and desk were finished in a custom color that was inspired by the multi colored tile backguard at the range. Period details with modern amenities have given the kitchen new life for its happy owners.
